The 2019 Ann Arbor Christmas Bird Count will be held on Saturday, December 19 – as always, sponsored by the Washtenaw Audubon Society. (This date is tentative, pending decisions by the National Audubon Society and state and local health authorities.) Check back here or our Facebook page for updates. The event brings out both advanced, intermediate, and beginning birders, and it is a wonderful occasion for volunteers new to the area, or birding itself, to meet the local birding community and become part of the Ann Arbor area’s extensive birding network.
