Come out to help remove invasive plants and shrubs from WAS’s own Searles Nature Preserve on Bolla Road in Augusta TWP. Twice per year we meet to help keep Searles Nature Preserve growing and looking good. The Searles Preserve is a great place to see songbirds in migration. Bring your own water, gloves, loppers, clippers and/or handsaws. Some tools will also be provided. No need to preregister, but social distancing rules will apply. We will need to keep our masks on throughout the entire workday and stay 6 feet apart. We can’t wait to see you there! WAS members and non-members are encouraged to participate. The rain date, Saturday November 7, 11-2:00 will only be used for extreme weather on Nov. 1.
