***Update*** Meet at Embury Rd. (map here) in Pinckney Recreation Area at 6 pm. Park on the side of the road. Ben Hack and Juliet Berger are your guides. We’ll walk the road for the entire evening and enjoy all the breeding and migrating birds this fantastic road has to offer. Target birds include Acadian Flycatcher, Scarlet Tanager, Blue-winged Warbler, Veery, Yellow-billed Cuckoo, and Cerulean Warbler. Plan to carpool to the location with your friends and family, or drive by yourself if that is more comfortable. Wear sturdy boots and bug spray. Bring water and snacks if you want them.
Back by popular demand! Each Tuesday will feature a new trip leader and a location of their choice. Check the back here 24 hours before the event for meeting location. Details for these walks tend to come together closer to the event than our other walks.
