Programs are held at the University of Michigan Matthaei Botanical Gardens, 1800 North Dixboro Rd., Ann Arbor.

From the Geddes Road exit on US 23: East on Geddes Road. Go north (left) at the first stop light, which is Dixboro Road. Proceed 3 miles. The Gardens is on the right.

From the Plymouth Road exit on US 23: Go east on Plymouth Road to Dixboro Road. Go south (right) on Dixboro Road and proceed 1/4 mile. The Gardens is located on the left hand side of the road.

Rock Star of the Bird World: Kirtland's Warbler

Join Bill Rapai for the fascinating account of the near-extinction of the Kirtland’s Warbler, and the people who saved it. Bill Rapai is an award-winning journalist and president of the Gross Pointe Audubon Society. His first book, “The Kirtland’s Warbler,” was published this year by the University of Michigan Press, and copies will be available for purchase and signing.
