Plaza Motor Motel
Come explore the winter wonderland of birding that is the UP. Great Gray Owl, Northern Hawk Owl, Snowy Owl, Pine Grosbeak, Evening Grosbeak, Sharp-tailed Grouse, Ruffed Grouse, Bohemian Waxwing, Canada Jay, Common Raven and Boreal Chickadee are all possible species on this field trip.
We will meet in the parking lot of the Plaza Motor Motel in Sault St. Marie, MI at 8 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday to bird all day Saturday and Sunday morning.
Most will be staying at the Plaza Motor Motel in Sault Ste. Marie Friday and Saturday. If you use the discount code 5OFF, you will save $5 per night. This hotel will likely sell out, so make your reservations early. There are several other hotels in town as well.
