Please join Washtenaw Audubon in attending Hawkfest at Lake Erie Metropark on Saturday, September 15. Hawkfest is an event for the whole family focusing on birds of prey (eagles, hawks, falcons, and owls) and the annual fall hawk migration over Lake Erie Metropark. There will be games, crafts, guest speakers, and fun. Live birds of prey will be on hand! Participants will meet at the Plymouth Road park & ride and carpool to the event and can stay for the full day’s festival activities. The time of the meet-up is still to be determined, and will be announced here.This field trip is free of charge, but a Metroparks Pass is required for admission to the park.
