Fall Migrants at Hudson Mills Metropark

Hudson Mills Metropark
Come to Hudson Mills Metropark for a WAS-sponsored tour of fall migrants. We will meet at 8 am sharp at the flagpole in the front of the Activity Center. If the entry booth is unmanned, you can purchase a $10 daily parking permit from Metropark staff at the Activity Center. We will be searching for fall migrants especially warblers, vireos, cuckoos, and flycatchers. The resident woodpeckers are always fun too.
RAIN DATE: If thunderstorms or adverse weather conditions are forecast for Saturday morning, the trip leader will post a message on the Birders mailing list by 6 am on Saturday, postponing the field trip and rescheduling it for the next day, Sun., Sept. 10 at 8 am. To subscribe to the Birders mailing list, visit https://glc-lists.merit.edu/sympa/info/birders.
Please wear appropriate footwear for dewy, wet, grassy and gravel trails, and bring insect repellent. No pets are allowed on the nature trails. Please, no strollers either.
